    So the #UCP in #Alberta are going for straight up gerrymandering: they’ve decided to toss the redistricting that was the result of a multi-year non-partisan scheduled process because they don’t like the report. Why not? Because our province’s population growth has been in cities, and cities don’t vote conservative. The excuse is to add another 2 extra MLAs, but this will be an excuse to produce a lot of hybrid suburban/rural ridings to dilute the progressive vote.
