There isn't a global skills shortage in cyber security. There is a shortage of people in some areas.

If you are a pentester, do compliance or is a junior SOC analyst, then you are shit out of luck. There is plenty of people doing that already.

If you do forensics, threathunting, detection engineering or cryptography, then you have job offers.
