@RadicalSocialWorker A few years ago, I saw Mason Alexander Park and Mike Garson (and a couple of other folks) do a set of Bowie and Sandman-related stuff and a club on the Sunset Strip. Among other things, they pulled out Celluloid Heroes which nearly made me cry. (I grew up in LA, but haven't lived there in 35 years. But the nostalgia is still strong.)

@RadicalSocialWorker Long Live Rock, by The Who. And I love this performance in particular. They’re miming the instrumental playing for the TV appearance, but the vocals are sung live. And in the verse that starts at around 3 minutes in, Pete gets the lyrics wrong! He turns away from the camera and laughs a little, apparently realizing his mistake! Later, Roger come is early.
