The Montréal—Pierre Elliott Trudeau International Airport (CYUL) has announced that the STM will run the 815 shuttle between the airport and Des Sources LRT/REM station starting 17 June 2026

In place of the 747, I’m sure, because #enshittification
@VE2UWY The way it’s presented, it will be a side-by-side service.
Also, less expensive than the 747 (zone A regular ticket instead of a zone A 24-hour one)

L'aéroport international Pierre-Elliott-Trudeau de Montréal (CYUL) a annoncé que la STM opérera la navette 815 entre l'aéroport et la station SLR/REM Des Sources à partir du 17 juin 2026@EdwinG their web page was updated to add the 815 but they did not update bus routes leaving the 204 that no longer served airport.
The 747 continues as normal until opening of rem airport service after which it will operate only during overnight hours when rem closed.

@jfmezei I heard that the 747 would disappear after the LRT station opening.
I expect night service to be provided by 350 series routes.
But all of this is speculation, we should know for sure in 2028.

@EdwinG during stm open house a couple weeks ago they told me the 747 would survive during hours rem is shut. It is already a 24 hour bus. With today’s announcement that REM will sleep in during weekends and open late this becomes. More important.

@jfmezei Indeed.
I don’t trust anything the STM says anymore. Their actions (or lack thereof) speak louder than anything they say.

@EdwinG The folks I spoke to at that STM open house were real STM workers and the guy was aware of the bus stop not being at the Cedar park Station and explained why they couldn't put in it the alley between street and tracks (due to cars pulling out of parking) and though all passengers exiting EXO train crossed street at the actual intersection instead of at the exit of station. (not a busy street).
So when he told me about 747, I trusted his words. They were planning folks, not PR.

@jfmezei I trust them as much as their consultations for the restructuring consultations for my borough at the time.
They told us: “you have already been consulted” in 2020. That was the first consultation for the borough.
Ultimately, the restructuring had to be redone after they failed massively.

Le SLR a annoncé que la navette 815 ne fonctionne que jusqu’en octobre 2026@EdwinG during recent meet , the STM folks told me the 815 is being paid for by CDPQ. The 209 would be much slower as it visits many residential areas in Dorval. 209 fois between terminus Dorval and airport.

@jfmezei I thought it was being paid by ADMTL
