Dear #WordWeavers players! It's time to submit your community questions if you want them in the April edition
As always, @BranwenOShea and I will choose which ones to include (usually it's all of them unless recently asked) and might edit them for brevity/clarity. -

Your opinion on April's fools day & do you incooperate the day into your work?Choose a character, it's invited to a party.
What kind of party is it?
Does it have special rules, like a dress code, no eating or bring your own alcohol?
How would that character react to being invited? Can you create a character/place/storyhook/device on the spot, if you need to? If so would you give us an example?
Look around & choose an object you see, describe it as if it would be a mysterious item to you (no name, no clear description of its intended use) or as if you want to describe it to a very young person.
Do you characters tell jokes?
If so let them tell us a joke, please. One of your characters is seeing something unbelievable. What is it & why are they seeing it?
Did your MC ever had a melody/tune stuck in their head?
What would be the most unappreciated social event a character of yours could be invited to?
Your MC has 2 1/2 days of spare time, time to...

How do you get to know your stories characters? Only through writing the story or also other means (character sheet, prequel, interviews, etc)? For which characters do you bother to come up with a back story?

@AnnaSaultron @BranwenOShea Also, I really like the challenge of describing an object as if we didn't know what it was βΒ sounds like a fun exercise!

@AlinaLeonova @BranwenOShea I had the idea while looking at a old phone and remembered a Tablet advertisement, in which an older man helped a younger woman (my assumption commercials rarely care for identity is my conclusion), in the kitchen cutting onions and putting the stuff, he used, into the dish washer where she realized that he was using her big brand name tablet...
And if you look at a deactivated Phone today that doesn't have any charge left. It's an odd artifact.
I think they did a time capsule episode in the series the Orville with that.
But if you are an researcher of History and find old phones with clear keyboard, display etc, you could at least make an assumption but this flat black surface stone/metal shards??
Completely wild guessing if you don't have something similar at hand.As always I'm glad if I can be of assistance.
