    hello, Mastodon

I'm looking for alternatives to Google Classroom for my groups. Specially I'm looking for an easy way to share PDFs, post class announcements and receive and grade documents. I know I can use Moodle and install my own server but don't have the tech knowledge and I lack time to learn it. Any suggestions?

@urbalejoluna Instructure might have Free-for-teachers Canvas still available. It's been a few years since I've looked though.

@urbalejoluna I would say use Linux itself. There are some light distributions that will easily chug away in a VM.

I'm dabbling with Puppy Linux. It's easy to run and comes with enough features to connect a classroom.

Don't mind me if this causes hesitation!
