      @TheBreadmonkey From what I can gather, it's like Pokemon. You go to meetings in order to collect business cards. You then show off your collection to others. I'm not sure yet how you win.

        @TheBreadmonkey Meetings are recurring, to have a meeting you need a meeting about that meeting, but no wait you need a meeting about that meeting as well... And so it goes on until certain levels of management actually do nothing but attend meetings.

        Not convinced anything sensible comes out of said meetings though...

          @TheBreadmonkey had a job I was over. While actively looking for an alternative I took the approach of responding to any meeting request with. Why exactly do we need to meet about that?
          Less than half the meetings went ahead in the few weeks I was still there (this was prior to giving notice)
