…It seems crass to bring a song writing and performance contest into any individual tragedy that arises from the pursuit of journalists, the depraved targeting of children, and the psychotic application of mass cruelty, but soft power is one of the few tools we have to express dissent.
And we need all the tools we have to push back against the normalisation of murder
