Just finished rewatching the first Resident Evil flick again the other day, and I still love it despite the janky cg (and how it's not super faithful to the game). What struck me while watching it this time is that Milla Jovovich is such a cool actress. I remember thinking she was great in The Fifth Element when I first saw it, in theaters, in 1997- but she REALLY shone when I saw that first Resident Evil flick in 2002. Wow. And I forgot, there's the censored version of a Slipknot song over the end credits. πŸ˜‚πŸ€£

@jake4480 We must be linked, buddy. Been grabbing all the Resident Evil flicks today. I already have the UHD of the first one, which I watched a while back. Yes, Milla really shines...

@wendigo oh awesome! Yeah I've been wanting to watch em all through again, like I did a while back with all the Underworld flicks. Love all of both. The Resident Evil ones, it's wild to see the quality and filming improve throughout them. πŸ˜‚ But this was impressive shit for 2002!
