@scavello sadly laws vary. In most states you can own and carry them—just don't commit crime with them.
Technically, you *can* own and carry them anywhere...as long as you don't get caught

@alice @deviantollam Yea, I live in Canada, in an area where mere possesion of them is considered a crime, and considering my work requires a criminal record check, I can’t afford that risk. However when I was younger and more ignorant I definitely did some bobby pin raking of a cheap lock I had

@alice @deviantollam add a quilting needle bent at 90° with 2 to 5 mm (you are more of an expert in length) to the edc kit
