                      @lisamelton I think it’s great that old folk no longer have to feel isolated when they can’t get out. 🙂

                      My grandmother died before iPads. Her brain was as sharp as ever, but she was bed ridden and didn’t have a lot of company.

                        @GrumpusNation Actually no! I played Black Desert Online (from the same company) on and off for years and I wasn't interested in it. Partially because of the exorbitant price. AAA game studios have no idea what the economy is like now.

                        Instead these days I'm playing a LOTof indie and retro games. They're cheaper and, TBH, a lot more fun.

                              @lisamelton Yeah. She had books to read and we wrote letters. I am glad that now most folk have access to the outside world, whether gaming or chatting.

                              It’s just when iPads were released, my first thought was of her and how it might’ve changed her last few years. And this story reminded me of that. 🙂
