Ha! Elizabeth Warren has just placed House #Republicans in a terrible position like they deserve. Trump publicly supported a bill to stop investors hoarding #housing in the US, like more functional nations have long since done. Sen Warren called the #GOP bluff and is trying to get a bill passed that would do that and other things to lower our absurd housing costs. Now the rats on the sinking ship have to either pass it or get hammered on it in the midterms.

Just this morning I looked up the rent on the studio apartment I lived in for part of college. I don't remember exactly what I paid but it was under $700 a month for sure. Similar studio apartments in that building are now $1400-$2000 a month. It isn't dingy but it's not the lap of luxury either. Ye gods. I don't advise others to play this game, it's depressing.
