When an evil person dies, we shouldn't publicly mourn them, because that would be hypocritical.

When an evil person dies, we shouldn't publicly mourn them, because that would be hypocritical.
But we also shouldn't celebrate any death gleefully, because that dehumanises us.
The best option is just to ignore them and move on. (They would have hated being ignored, if that's any comfort.)
