But I don't see how you can boast about consumer protection when under sustained attack for age / identity verification to the US, this is completely the opposite of protecting any consumers.

There is no consumer rights protection without ban on tracker.
I see websites tracker even in reserved area after login. And I see tracker EVEN when I choose to NOT accept cookies.

@EUCommission EU indeed is better than most places when it comes to consumer protection and privacy. What I want to see is getting rid of ANY kind of Chat Control, banning age verification, and banning app attestation on Android. And making phone bootloaders open, too

Please, in this current time & context, do not neglect the data protection & sovereignity - we need independance from USamerican tech & data control to stay a strong community, able to stand on its own as world leading economic & science power.
