@johnefrancis it’s one of the many services that popped up when we lost Google Reader. You can set up an account there and subscribe to a variety of news/periodical feeds

@johnefrancis Howdy! newsbeep.org is also listed on IFTAS' abandoned/unmanaged list for spam & farming, so the activity there may not be non-toxic.
