Some people glamorize vendettas and staying angry over real or perceived slights.

After thinking about it, staying upset requires a lot of energy and effort.

And I don't have the energy to maintain long running angry vendettas. It's exhausting.

In addition to being a healthier way to live, it feels liberating to just say "I don't even remember what you did - and perhaps - or who you are anymore."
