        @EUCommission

        Regulatory deep cleaning. GREAT!
I’m all for it. But do you know it would be a really easy way to make the European Union more better friendly?

        Would you like to know?

It’s simple; reduce the mandatory term for which businesses have to keep copies of all their receipts and proceeding from seven years to 5 years.

        Do it now.

@EUCommission If it doesn't include changing definitions, adding exceptions and limiting people's rights as in the GDPR omnibus, I'm in.

@EUCommission simpler isn't better if you're going to increase companies' power over you. It's not better if you're increasing their power over us, your citizens. It's not better if us workers will be weakened by your choices.

Is this what your public relations department came up with when you tasked them with finding a nicer framing for neoliberal deregulation?

@EUCommission I'd be glad when the national data protection authorities would simply work on their complaints.
The numbers at which these drop complaints and not even mend a sliver of all data protection violations, is a huge bother.

@EUCommission I do not think that #DigitalOmnibus is better.

Also why now? And why does it start with ICT when there's so much to simplify in regards to agriculture?

Yeah, it would be great if regular citizens would be able to read laws without needing ten lawyers, but why do I think it will result in still unreadable laws, just easier to exploit?

@EUCommission Like some ČSN technical norms which are part of Czech legal norms, but are not published in the Collection, and IMO not even available for Linux users as free downloads, therefore IMO citizens cannot know legal norms and cannot comply with legal norms and IMO the EU/Czech regime loses legitimacy and turns into a mere violent armed terrorist group controlling a territory (definition of terrorism: use of violence against non-combatants to achieve political or ideological aims)?

@EUCommission I do not think that #DigitalOmnibus is better.

Also why now? And why does it start with ICT when there's so much to simplify in regards to agriculture?

Yeah, it would be great if regular citizens would be able to read laws without needing ten lawyers, but why do I think it will result in still unreadable laws, just easier to exploit?

@The_Universality @EUCommission Why read laws? IMO it's obvious that the regime doesn't want you to comply to those laws, otherwise it wouldn't make like 2 millions of them, which is impossible for a citizen to even read, let alone comply to.

IMO the regime just wants to extort racket money it calls "fines", no matter what you do, it will always find some fine print or an interpretation somewhere you purportedly violated so that it can always fine you should you happen to be a dissident and disagree with the regime or should it just want your life savings.

IMO It's like a corrupt 3rd world banana republic dictatorship, except it's hypocritical and doesn't admit it. It tries to hide it behind a Potemkin village mask of pretense of legal norms, except for this fact where the mask really slips, that they are patently and kafkaesquely impossible to comply with, just by the sheer amount of them.
