I’ll mention the first picture was from earlier today.
Issue was identified, water has receded, drywall and insulation have been cut out. Just need to wait for it all to dry.
As a side note: if anyone in the #Ottawa area is in need of a good contractor lmk. While I could already rave about him for days; today he took my call while on vacation down south and sent his guys over immediately with fans and other industrial sized equipment for me to borrow.

I’d be so so stressed. I’m sorry this happened, but so relieved to read that you found a great contractor. I literally feel myself breathe out… haha. Hope it is all fixed up soon.
