digiKam version 9.0.0 is now out!

@digikam , KDE's image/photo management software , now supports more RAW formats from more cameras, comes with improved preview and media support, makes reviewing items easier thanks to the new _Survey_ tool, and much, much more.

@kde @digikam Haiku's version is build now too, just needs a rebuild for missing requirement to install, for Haiku users updating do the next in Terminal:

pkgman install ffmpeg7 ffmpeg7_avdevice

This will fix the current update, thanks upstream for the update! 🥰

A complicated software to use,

But has been my giro photo organizing mainstay. Nothing comes close.

A software I recommend highly. Many great features, too many functions to recount here

But some functions don't work well for me

1. The inbuilt edit function seems to have become less easy to use.

2. While the multi tag search functionality needs some serious improvement .

Of course advanced users have probably figured out solutions for all these.
