A business tried to help with signage there first, but then the city did the right thing. The next day a UPS driver parked right over them, but the posts were ok & I’ve filed a complaint with UPS. #BikeNite

I had just finished staging the start of the sixth grade boys #mtb race with my volunteers last Saturday, when I shot this video. They were starting their first race of the #NorCal season, most likely their first bike race ever.https://youtube.com/shorts/GFqDGWGUkWI
That was for one conference, tomorrow we do it again for the other conference; same thing, different kids.

@ascentale @bikenite A8.2. Here’s another photo that’s a bit of a cheat in that I didnt take it. Another of our sons is in Montréal this week, and took this photo today of the modest grave of an important Canadian poet who called that city home.

@ascentale @bikenite A8. Cycle photo of the week for me was probably this cyclist along the mixed use trail paralleling a train track on my way from #Brno to Uherský Brod.
Very nice trail that had seats and even shelters at various places alongside it. Cyclists and parents pushing prams intermittently along the way.

@ascentale @bikenite A8. Yesterday we had the first real sunny day of the year here in Germany with a temperature of 17 °C. Even though nature is still mostly brown, it felt like spring and it was wonderful to hike in the neighboring vineyards.

@JohnSullivan I can't speak for @theantlady , but I have mine in a similar spot and the lock itself doesn't really stick out over the pedal space at all. If i tuck my foot and leg in there can be some very light grazing with the front facing side of the cross bar, so maybe it's just a benefit of having flats instead of clipless pedals.
This lock looks a little chunkier than mine, but with the angles it doesn't really change much.
