      I guess if I wanted to try and give an excuse for them: social media platforms can't ban sexual predators without banning 2/3 of MAGA.

        @JessTheUnstill That's absolutely true, but in the context they've made where their platforms are "required" to participate in society, maybe rather than banning they should be implementing account restrictions. Like inability to send outgoing friend requests or comment on or react to anything except by a friend or a business page. This would avoid losing the advertising revenue & engagement metrics while mostly protecting others from them.

          @dalias Sure, but that would still be a fraught road to avoid shadow banning any Republican politician or conservative influencer noteworthy enough to make Drama
