    My Sailfish OS Journey: Apps for my daily needs

    I have been daily driving Sailfish OS since 2014, and that has been made possible by the many apps I rely on. In the first post of this series, I elaborated ...

        @osma Really, reading the Firefox and Wayland stuff on the forum was kinda mindblowing! Any apps you use that I did not mention?

        @rubdos
        Nothing major I guess... I use SailOTP for one time password generation, GPSInfo to wake up my GPS in case I want to use location in Android apps, and some really basic apps like Messages, Notes and Calculator. Oh, and SailTuner for tuning musical instruments!

          @osma Ah, forgot to mention SailOTP. That's a daily indeed. Haven't needed GPSInfo on the 10IV, which is great I guess!

          My piano is digital already, so no real need for tuning. Cool app though!

              @wuppi Glad to be of help! I've always found the public facing information a bit difficult to find, so I hope that maybe this will make things easier to discover by the time the Jolla Phone is there!

                            @rubdos I don't use Plasma either, but once you've tried kdeconnect, it's hard to switch to anything else. I start the daemon manually when I need it.
