My Sailfish OS Journey: Apps for my daily needs

I have been daily driving Sailfish OS since 2014, and that has been made possible by the many apps I rely on. In the first post of this series, I elaborated ...

Thanks for the writeup and all the app tips! I've also used Sailfish as my main phone OS for over ten years (and N9 before that). I use much fewer apps than you do and learned a lot from your post. The Firefox news sounds great!

Nothing major I guess... I use SailOTP for one time password generation, GPSInfo to wake up my GPS in case I want to use location in Android apps, and some really basic apps like Messages, Notes and Calculator. Oh, and SailTuner for tuning musical instruments!

@osma Ah, forgot to mention SailOTP. That's a daily indeed. Haven't needed GPSInfo on the 10IV, which is great I guess!

My piano is digital already, so no real need for tuning. Cool app though!

@rubdos I don't use Plasma either, but once you've tried kdeconnect, it's hard to switch to anything else. I start the daemon manually when I need it.

@rubdos @doubleubee @abranson Glad BeRail still works πŸ™‚ Only possible thanks to #iRail!

More or less: seems like there are some things that don't work? Just curious πŸ™‚ I don't have any #SailfishOS devices anymore but happy to accept patches

@dylanvanassche I believe you even made me contributor back in the day. I don't use the train enough to care too much though :'-)
