      @xtaldave sadly one might conclude that the racist policies are driven by belief not expediency - not sure which is worse

        @xtaldave yeah they're turning into Tories, but in pink. I'm more green these days than Labour - and I've been die hard Labour for decades.

          @nomenloony same here. I have been Labour for 20 years. I joined the Greens before the last election.

          Starmer's govt is so disappointing after 14 years of Tory slash-and-burn

            @xtaldave They've also been repeating Reform's calls into an investigation into alleged family voting, following the allegations by "Democracy Volunteers" (which, conveniently, they left until after polls closed before announcing their "findings" to the media; rather than flagging up to the council as/when they noticed them). Never mind the Returning Officer stated that no reports had been received by poll workers...

              @xtaldave

              I think we should "return" Shabana Mahmoud. Maybe that might concentrate her mind.

                  @xtaldave To Mirpur, Azad Kashmir, Pakistan. After all, she sends kids back to where their parents come from so I am only asking for consistency.

                  And you will say thats a horrible policy. It is. So it should happen to no one.

                    @Black_Flag I see the point you're making. And you're right, I'm 100% not comfortable with fighting fire with fire. That's what Reform would do.

                    It absolutely shouldn't happen to anyone.

                    It's just desperately disappointing that this is a labour party policy. The Labour party should be better than that. But they've shown us time and time again that they're not better than that. So we move on.
