@BathysphereHat I'll have to revisit the scene, but iirc, that character in Heat is constantly on cocaine, but it's never explicitely mentioned in the film...and I think when I learned that, more of that performance made sense to me. So maybe that?

@r3dr3clus3 Sure, but I've known people who were on a lot of cocaine, and that's not how they act.
