Huh - one of screenplay co-writers went on to give us Kolchak: The Night Stalker (and Ironsides, and CHiPs) - Cy Chermak. Another co-writer, Theodore Simonson, wrote the screenplay for The Blob, while the third co-writer (original idea?) Jack H. Harris was also the director *and* the director of The Blob.
