I am very happy that John Williams didn't retire and rest on his laurels after writing the theme music for the unaired "Gilligan's Island" pilot.

@shayman I think (totally speculation) it’s because he played trombone as a young man (in addition to piano) before they told him he had to choose a primary instrument!
