Could it be the cargo was redirected / intended for the nearby Houthi rebels instead? Coincidentally, the Houthi leader has just announced they're ready to support Iran yesterday. Assuming the vessel is still fully laden and no offloading in part to Houthi fleets of speedboats took place along that coast? But let's see where it ends up.
