Hezbollah claims series of attacks on Israel, red alerts in northern regions
On Sunday, April 12, the Lebanese Shiite organization Hezbollah claimed responsibility for a series of attacks on Israeli territory. According to their statement, these actions were a response to alleged ceasefire violations by Israeli forces. The first strike was carried out at 07:10 using drones targeting a gathering of Israeli soldiers in the Yaron area. Earlier, at 05:15 and 05:30, two barrages were launched against Israeli vehicles and troops in the town of Khiam. A command vehicle in the Taybeh area was also attacked. In response to these events, red alert sirens were activated in northern Israel, specifically in the Confrontation Line and Upper Galilee regions. Warnings were also issued in the city of Kiryat Shmona.
