I really shouldn't browse estate agent sites.
I have found a small holding in the right part of Wales.
4 acres, 2 bed house, stables, out houses, polytunnels, fruit orchard, woodland, paddock, solar pv, wind turbine, house battery, emergency Lister generator, spring water, off grid, no immediate neighbours, plenty of parking, access from a public road, secluded by trees, ready to move into, and at the sort of price I think we can afford when we sell up.
But we're not ready to sell up yet!

Yes, and hopefully still will in a few years.On the other hand, if someone wanted to buy my house the way it is now for 'just enough' I would sell up and go for it.

Now that we have started the process of trying to get ready to look at one day selling our house and moving to Wales, the off grid house

Realistically, it is still too soon for us.However, I can randomly lust until we are ready, then we can go and view them as well to see just how exaggerated the agent blurb is.
