The delta between party vote intention and preferred PM is remarkable. This suggests something like 1/3 Tory voters are saying they'd vote Conservative but would prefer Carney to stay PM over their own leader. He's cooked, surely. SURELY.

@AhTheGreg
I'd like to think this poll reflects the intelligence of Canadians, but it's more likely that PP's inexperience in anything that matters is painfully obvious. Carney's reputation and career has made him the best man for the job. -

And now Angus Reid with a 13pt gap (45-32) between the Liberals and the Conservatives.
Tories are going to live to regret locking all dissenters out of their nutjob convention so they could double down on culture war bullshit and give Poilievre an >80% review. If there are any Tories left, at least.

Oh shit I didn't get to the regional breakouts before I started posting.
Atlantic Canada LPC +33 (!)
Quebec +11
Ontario +12
CPC are only ahead by +4 in Alberta. -

Now we're talking about a polling advantage I'm not sure has any precedence after this long in office. All highly unprecedented.

Carney was right. The old world order is dead, the new one struggles to be born. Now is the time of monsters!
