"AI" isn't "here to stay".
"AI" was a deliberate choice by kakistocratic vandals, foisted on society against better wisdom and despite being worse than useless.
Choices can be unmade.
This doesn't mean that anything salvageable from the current mess must necessarily be cast aside.
But once the craze dies down and ethical considerations are reinstated, I'm certain that much of the current mess will be thrown away.
Because there's no reason not to.
