    In other news, the cat has seen his first red squirrel of the year and is now on sentry duty. Examining snow along the edges there's a whole network of tunnels from other, smaller critters.

      @jerzone we have mice creating a whole network of tunnels under the snow. When it melts, the tiny trodden paths melt last so our lawn looks like it has white blood vessels.
