    The good news: our moderators are real people and are actively on the ball. Accounts like these don’t last long.

    If you have such follow requests: #report them *before* blocking. So you help that others get protected.

      @Nazani I was included in one of these Mastodon "starter pack" lists, and since then see more junk and spam requests. I have to watch the phenomenon for more time but I suspect that these scammers send mass requests to these lists by bots.
