I'm embarrassed that we still need to say this, but:
    Trans rights are human rights.

I have trans friends, and they are every bit as annoying and wonderful as all my other friends. Many of them are way better hackers.

And we should all be annoyed that, in the US, even just flying through a major transit airport could be a real threat to their lives and wellbeing.

@allanfriedman Do you have a citation for the airport example? I'm in the process of arranging a trip by air for a trans friend, so specific and verifiable information would mean a lot ❤️

We were doing air since it appeared relatively safe, and I can't find trans airport issues beyond the passport gender marker issues and patdown bias

@dipolecat hi friend! I don’t have any concrete date, just have heard concerns about transit through airports like DFW. I’m afraid I don’t feel comfortable offering specific advice, but if you don’t have any trusted resources, I can try to point you to some folks who can be more useful.

Safe travels, and illegitimi non carborundum.
