Gods, the trailer for Christopher Nolan's #Odyssey looks fucking terrible. The only character that managed to pull me in at all was Telemachus. And I love the Odyssey. I've never seen Charybdis look so bland and unimpressive before. It doesn't get me excited. If I watch it, it'll likely be just to write a review.
What about you, @phistorians? Are you gonna watch it? I loved your series of Gladiator 2 special episodes even though the film itself was rubbish

️ @AimeeMaroux It feels like they're going for the "big dusty book that you have to read for school" vibe, and they've captured that pretty well.

@AimeeMaroux I don't mind Matt Damon generally, but he rarely gives off "I'm super clever" vibes, or even George Clooney's "I think I'm super clever, but I'm just clever enough to get myself in trouble."
