    Picture 1: Even before Trump began raiding the homes of journalists, the US did not reach the global top ten of The Press Freedom Index.

    Picture 2: Under Trump, the US is in 57th place, barely beating Gambia, but not even reaching the press freedom of Sierre Leone or Romania — falling 16 places since president Obama.

    I wonder what this will look like for 2026.
