And this morning I also wrote the function to oauth authorize the X11 app to use your mastodon account.

@PurpleJillybeans yes, assuming your UNIX of choice has a "modern enough" openssl libs to talk TLS/SSL and also json-c lib.

@wec have not published the source yet, it's still in a very early stage. Client needs json-c, libcurl with "modern enough" openssl to talk TLS/SSL.

well, libcurl and openssl work great on old UNIX (the fediverse instance I am speaking to you from is as old as an IP32), and json-c is pretty good in terms of portability. I look forward to messing with it!!
