(Adnkronos) - "Per garantire l’appropriatezza della spesa, sia per il mantenimento delle infrastrutture sia dei servizi, dobbiamo ripensare il trasporto pubblico locale alla luce dei cambiamenti in atto". Lo ha dichiarato Andrea Gibelli, presidente di Asstra, intervenendo al Consumers’ Forum. “Dopo il Covid – ha spiegato – il Tpl, storicamente pensato per lavoratori e studenti, registra dinamiche diverse: nei giorni feriali non sono ancora stati recuperati i livelli pre-pandemia, mentre nel fine settimana la domanda è cresciuta oltre le attese, anche per nuove abitudini legate al tempo libero e alla sostenibilità. Questo impone modelli più flessibili e tariffe dinamiche, non una pianificazione calata dall’alto ma costruita sui flussi reali”.

(Adnkronos) - "To ensure the appropriateness of spending, both for the maintenance of infrastructure and services, we must rethink local public transport in light of the changes underway.” This was stated by Andrea Gibelli, president of Asstra, speaking at the Consumers’ Forum. “After Covid – he explained – local transport (Tpl), historically designed for workers and students, is registering different dynamics: weekday ridership has not yet been fully recovered compared to pre-pandemic levels, while weekend demand has exceeded expectations, also due to new habits related to leisure and sustainability. This requires more flexible models and dynamic fares, not top-down planning but built on real flows.”
