@wweeta I got a bit confused there. In the UK Miners Lettuce is the similar plant Claytonia perfoliata, the one in your picture looks like Claytonia sibrica which in the UK is called "Pink Purslane". But they're both edible, so who knows! The downside of "common" names of things.

@JohnDal Yes, here, they both go by "Miner's lettuce". And they're both common, although I usually find C. perfiolata close to the shore, and C. sibrica in open spaces in the forest.
