          @jpmens It is! We don't get these snow storms as frequently as we used to. It's always very pretty on the day it lands. (Two days later, when it usually has turned into brown slush, not so much. 🙂

            i have always been puzzled by the phrase "fresh as the new driven snow".

            once folks start driving on it, it turns into a nasty gray/brown mess, not fresh at all...

              @paul_ipv6 @jschauma @jpmens My dad always used it ironically (“clean as the driven snow”), especially to describe someone of questionable character.
