A layer of heavy cloud was hanging above us. Briefly, sunrise underlit the raincloud and touched the misty mountain flanks with golden fingers.A moment later, the sun slipped behind the blanket of dark cloud overhead.
Breiðdalsvík in eastern Iceland. The mountain is Snæhvammstindur¹ and at the tip on the right is the appropriately named Mosfell.
