Spotlight On The Glacier
Late August, 20:20 in the evening, Höfn í Hornafirði in south-eastern Iceland. One strong sunbeam is striking the surface of Fláajökull glacier.
It had been a misty, cloudy day. We'd spent it at Jökulsárlón and had returned to our guest house for a meal.
As the sun began to set in the west-northwest, I carried my food outside and took a series of incredible photos until all colour left the sky at 21:25.

Yes, a lovely sunset and it was a good thing I had chosen salad for my meal that night. At least it hadn't gone cold while I was gawping! -
