They aren't even waiting years for user complacency and vendor lock-in to take root. Probably because of all the circular financing going on.

it is completely INSANE that he just said this and DOESN'T see the issue here
like, of COURSE anthropic is trying to limit the extent which the "25x subsidization", especially for users who use a TON of tokens
