Crude oil price ended over $100 today.
It has risen about 74% since the start of the year.
Oil shortages and prices affect many other sectors of the economy.
The Nasdaq index is down 9.9% for the year.
The market is starting to think the Federal Reserve's next move is raising interest rates.
