@phos
What is your binocular model?

@phos that microscope mount on the monitor arm looks neat! How susceptible is it to vibration?

@jaseg this one is table mounted so quite a lot, I wouldn’t want a camera on it, but with the eye it is fine.
You want to go wall mounted for good vibration isolation, then it’s rock solid

@phos mine currently has one of these really cheap tabletop stands, but I notice I find taking it out of the closet every time I need it a bit of a hassle and I was considering table-mounting it. I can’t wall mount it (rental apartments), but my table is very solid (30 mm birch ply table top and base). I’m currently leaning towards a wall mount type monitor arm mounted to some 160x40 mm aluminium slot profile. I used that stuff to build some workbenches at work and found it to be really solid.

@jaseg it is very nice to just position it anywhere and then move out of the way again, pleasure to use especially in small labs
