    Cycling along Rachel just now, and I notice joggers in the cycle lane seem to outnumber cyclists 2:1.

    Is that a thing now?

      @heliomass yeah, it's been an issue in the bike lanes around all the large parks in #Montreal this winter. I think there is some winter run club phenomenon going on, they jog into the lanes so they can talk to each other.
      I assume it'll come right when the lanes fill up with cyclists in a month.

        @paige @heliomass It's all of the above! The bike lanes are fairly clear, while the normal jogging paths remain with ice. Today on the Lachine canal it was a crazy amount of people walking/jogging/biking. Brought to you by: 15º C at the beginning of March 💪

          @llanero24 @paige I’d expect too that this phenomenon to vanish when the critical mass of cyclists goes up. Was just annoying as the sidewalks were clear, and some of the joggers were really blocking cyclists. I can mildly understand it if the sidewalks aren’t safe, but that wasn’t the case here.
