What, do they think we are melons and they can detect our ripeness (aka healthiness) that way?

@AncTreat5358 I remember doctors doing that in the past. I always had the impression it was related to your lungs. Another thought depending on where they're tapping is that they could be checking your spine for signs of fracture. Have you ever had a dexascan to check for osteoporosis?

@thefalcon Very interesting; I guess I missed that experience. Maybe they were checking lungs without mentioning it. And yes, I did get a bone DXA scan a few years ago, and am on a period retest.
