But the call was never from a real criminal making a real threat. There’s some Dutch live streamer who does prank calls, live on stream. And someone gave him the number of this guy and asked the streamer to give him a real scare.
So an unethical shock streamer scared a random guy into thinking his life was in immenent danger, and that guy had access to a gun, and two random kids got gunned down in the street for existing at the wrong time and place.

Murphy's Law, everything that could go wrong did go wrong.
1. The shooter believed the prank and acted upon it;
2. the shooter had access to a gun;
3. there were two kids on the bridge he chose to "meet the criminals";
4. he actually hit the two kids (he could have missed, as almost always happens with people without the proper training -- don't know if he had it).Sometimes, the Universe just aligns for a streak of real bad luck.

That is so tragic. I am so sorry for the familys of the kids.
But also for the gunner on some way.
