Morning Light
Early November, 09:40. Breakfast complete, we packed our final items before we left the hotel for a day of exploring the north-east of Iceland.
As I turned to pick up the last things, I saw this through the window and my jaw literally dropped. The first sunlight was caressing the snowy flanks of the mountains on the other side of the bay. Briefly, packing had to wait.
